Emma is a late-diagnosed autistic adult. She believes strongly that autism research best serves autistic people when it is conducted from a neurodiversity affirming perspective, and she is grateful for the opportunity to offer that perspective to the CONNECT team. In addition to autism, her special interests include horror movies and orcas.

Amy Frechette
Amy is an advocate and provides program support to the NH-ME LEND Program, Institute on Disability (IOD), at the University of New Hampshire. Amy currently serves as a governor-appointed self-advocate for the NH Council on ASD and is also a member of the Center for Neurodiversity Taskforce, Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the University of New Hampshire. Amy is busy raising a puppy named Duri, with hopes of him being her next service dog. Other hobbies include being an avid comic book reader, learning Korean and loves to cook outside of puppy raising.

Rebecca is a graduate student at UNC-Chapel Hill in the linguistics department. She is interested in studying language in autism​, contributing to formal theoretical models in syntax and morphology, documenting minority languages, and most importantly, advocating for herself and other autistic people. In her spare time, she enjoys creating sketch comedy, spending time with her cat Babushka, and maintaining her collection of novelty purses.
